Craig Wentworth is a Digital Effects Supervisor at Sony Pictures Imageworks, currently working on the Disney's 2016 release ALICE IN WONDERLAND: THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS.

Previously, Craig served as Senior CG Supervisor on Disney/Marvel's blockbuster GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and as CG Supervisor on Columbia Pictures' 22 JUMP STREET, the Warner Bros futuristic thriller EDGE OF TOMORROW and Disney/Marvel's CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLIDER. Prior to those projects, he served as Compositing Supervisor on Disney's OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL and again, as CG Supervisor on Columbia Pictures' MEN IN BLACK 3 and Warner Bros' GREEN LANTERN.

He joined Imageworks in January of 2006 and served as a Lighter/Compositor and Sequence Lead on films such as Disney's ALICE IN WONDERLAND and G-FORCE, WATCHMEN and I AM LEGEND for Warner Bros, Columbia Pictures' SPIDER-MAN 3 and SUPERMAN RETURNS for Warner Bros.

Prior to Imageworks, Craig for the second time in his career, joined Weta Digital in Wellington NZ on Peter Jackson's remake of KING KONG where he was a Sequence Lead on the New York Dawn Attack sequence, the action-packed battle atop The Empire State Building between Kong and several bi-planes.

In 2003, Craig came to the United States for the first time to work on the all CG features SHREK 2, MADAGASCAR, and SHARK TALE at DreamWorks Animation.

Craig's first big break at a major studio was at Weta Digital where he served as a Lighting TD and Sequence Lead on the last two films of THE LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy. As a Lighting TD, he was responsible for the “Battle of Helm's Deep” on THE TWO TOWERS. In addition he was a Sequence Lead on THE RETURN OF THE KING. In this role, he oversaw “The Battle of Pelennor Fields”, which contained the largest number of digital creatures ever put on screen at that time.

Prior to his role at Weta, Craig along with five partners started his own company called Elite Effects. In this role, he touched on everything from Visual Effects Supervision ("A Ring of Endless Light") to human resources, production, and company management.

He began his career as a 3D Artist "Trainee" at Photon Stockman, working on the television series "The New Adventures of Flipper" (starring a very young Jessica Alba).

Craig studied at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business, Advertising Major, and then continued his education and received a Graduate Diploma (with Honors) in Film and Television.
