Senior Visual Effects Producer Sony Pictures Imageworks
Josh R. Jaggars joined Sony Pictures Imageworks in 2004 as senior visual effects producer on the upcoming feature, "Ghost Rider," based on the character published by Marvel Comics.
Prior to Imageworks, Jaggars was called to Australia to produce the effects for "The Matrix Reloaded" and "The Matrix Revolutions." This experience allowed him to work with several different visual effects facilities for the first time, including Imageworks, Tippett Studios, ESC, Giant Killer Robots, and CIS. Having worked on both "Matrix" sequels, he was then hired on as digital effects producer for "Flight of the Phoenix" in 2004 for 20th Century Fox.

In 1995, Jaggars was at VIFX, where he learned the ropes of visual effects production on "Broken Arrow" and "Down Periscope." His first credit as visual effects producer was at VIFX, working on "From Dusk Till Dawn." Jaggars spent four years there, working on features including "Jingle All the Way," "Volcano," and "Armageddon," among others.
After studying radio, TV and film at UC Riverside and San Jose State University, Jaggars started his career at the local ABC-affiliate TV station in San Jose, then moved to Los Angeles, doing freelance production work on commercials, TV movies, and eventually, his first feature, "The Usual Suspects."
