The Assistant Technical Director (ATD) - Stereoscopic Lighting & Compositing provides technical support to complete lighting and compositing of 3D Stereoscopic scenes for visual effects and feature animation productions. Works with a team on a production to recreate the look, lighting and compositing of corresponding scenes. Responsible for compiling the various elements of a stereoscopic scene and seeing it through to completion. Self-starting problem solver who works with a production team to implement appropriate design and technical solutions. Knowledge of applicable software and platforms include Maya, Renderman, Shake (or similar node-based compositing software), Linux and scripting ability in relevant languages including MEL, Perl and Python. 1-2+ years of visual effects or feature animation production experience preferred.
