Fiona Crawford is a VFX Producer at Sony Pictures Imageworks. She most recently wrapped production on THE MEG, an epic action-packed shark adventure for Warner Bros. studios directed by Jon Turteltaub.
Prior to joining Imageworks, Crawford spent five years on George Miller’s post-apocalyptic master piece MAD MAX: FURY ROAD. At DRD Studios she worked on the visual effects budget and previsualization for the film. After the shoot in Namibia, Crawford joined Method Studios and produced approximately 2000 shots on the film. In 2016, MAD MAX: FURY ROAD was nominated for an Academy Award® for Best Visual Effects as well as multiple VES awards.
Crawford also worked at Animal Logic for over ten years where her producer credits include: FOOLS GOLD, THE GREAT RAID, HOUSE OF FLYING DAGGERS, HERO, SWIMMING UPSTREAM, THE QUIET AMERICAN, RABBIT PROOF FENCE, MOULIN ROUGE!, CHOPPER, ANGST, ME, MYSELF & I, MR ACCIDENT, and HOLY SMOKE. She was an executive Producer on 300 and WORLD TRADE CENTER.

What is your proudest achievement while working at Imageworks?
Joining a talented team of people with the sole endeavor to do great work ...oh and making a 75 ft. Megaladon shark breach out of the water!
What inspired you to become involved in making movies?
Once I realized that I could combine my obsession for creating budgets and spreadsheets with producing amazing images, that was it for me! I have always enjoyed problem-solving and collaborating with creative minds, and I love helping directors tell their stories.
