Sue Rowe is an Emmy Award-nominated VFX Supervisor at Sony Pictures Imageworks. She is one of the industry’s most experienced VFX supervisors with nearly 20 years in the industry, uniquely talented in traditional animation, 3D animation and compositing.
Rowe’s wealth of knowledge as an on-set supervisor has proved invaluable during many productions such as INDEPENDENCE DAY RESURGENCE (Fox), THE MAZE RUNNER (Fox), JOHN CARTER (Disney) and THE GOLDEN COMPASS (New Line), which won an Academy Award® in 2008 for Best Achievement in Visual Effects, along with a BAFTA for Best Special Visual Effects that same year.
She was awarded the 2008 Panalux Craft Award at the annual Women in Film and Television Awards and was recognized for her outstanding achievements in the industry.
Rowe is a member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and serves on the board of the Visual Effects Society.
