Ben Aguillon is a DFX Supervisor at Sony Pictures Imageworks. He began his Imageworks career in 2006 as a Senior Lighting Technical Director and Sequence Lead. His credits include: THE MITCHELLS VS. THE MACHINES, MEN IN BLACK: INTERNATIONAL, SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE, HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3: SUMMER VACATION, SMURFS: THE LOST VILLAGE, ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS, HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2, THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2, OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL, ARTHUR CHRISTMAS, ALICE IN WONDERLAND, G-FORCE, and MONSTER HOUSE.

Aguillon earned a BFA, Fine Arts/Digital Arts, from the University of California, Irvine and an MFA in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts.

What is your proudest achievement while working at Imageworks?
Supervising a lighting team for SPIDER-MAN™: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE. It was both the most challenging and rewarding show I have worked on at Imageworks. 

What inspired you to becoming involved in making movies?
I remember being introduced to the graphic adventure game MYST in the early 90's and realizing that using computers to tell stories and create entire worlds was my calling.
